Patrick "P.J." Ryan age 60 of Chilton died Saturday, March 10, 2007 at his home in the care of his family and Affinity Hospice Care. He was born February 1, 1947 in Antigo to Elaine (Piller) Ryan of Antigo and the late Jack Ryan.
On June 28, 1975 he and Kathleen Dunn were married in Antigo. She survives.
A 1965 graduate of Antigo High School, he attended UW Oshkosh, MATC, UW Milwaukee and Lakeshore Technical College.
Mr. Ryan was employed by the Milwaukee Road in Milwaukee and in Antigo by Walters Farm, Volm Bag Print Shop, and Green Thumb Program as Work Coordinator. He owned and operated Mulligan's Drinkery and Eatery and later Mulligan's Off Fifth in Antigo. He was one of the founders and active participant of the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Antigo which began in 1981.
In October of 1997 he received a miraculous heart transplant which extended his life for 10 years.
He moved to Chilton in 2005.

He enjoyed his grandson Porter, several trips to Ireland with family and friends, camping at Jack Lake every summer and talking silly around the campfires, creating delicious meals.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday March 15, 2007 at Bradley Funeral Home, Hwy 45, Antigo. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 3:30 to 7:30 PM and Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Bradley Funeral Home. On line condolence may be made at www.bradleyfh.com
